Think Pink Appeal a Huge Success

The masons of the Western District held a sausage sizzle and Trivia competition last Sunday to raise funds for the Think Pink Appeal. Over seventy masons, wives and family thoroughly enjoyed getting together for a fun afternoon and particularly the friendly competition answering trivia questions. A Mega raffle with nearly thirty prizes was held as was a silent auction. Good food, good company and a worthy cause all helped to make the afternoon a huge success. Thanks must be given to all who turned up for making it such a fun day, but particular thanks must go to Noel Allsop and Lyn who organised the prizes and trivia questions, the sausages, cupcakes and drinks and just about everything else. Also to Edmond and Laura Mansour for jewelry and gift vouchers and for helping on the day, Jeff Denison for working like a beaver all day, and Norrie Rayson and Brendan Kyne for cooking the sausages. And to anyone else who I have forgotten. All the effort was well worth while because including donations from The Blues Brothers Masters Group, The Highlanders Masters Group, The Confederates Masters Group and the  Djerriwarrh Lodge, the magnificent amount of $4053.35 was raised. A great result and a great time. Thanks to all.
